This happy rooster was painted on an old recycled watercolor painting.  I flipped it and left the tiny chicken and little nest of eggs showing.

This is a 8x10 watercolor commission done on Arches paper. This ole boy was the talk of the yard at Jackelopes in Santa Fe. He was sitting on the arm of a chair posing and crowing. What a showoff he was! The man's wife collects roosters and I sure hope she likes my Romeo. Sold
