Lacy Cross Linda Rupard
This is an older painting that I always liked. It is a Latex & acrylic on Arches watercolor paper 22 X 30. A reminder of what Christmas is celebrating. Birth of Christ that brings joy to all christians who believe.

Lacy Cross

I painted this cross in Doug Waltons Workshop. Texture with a latex wash was used for the first layer then other layers were added using negative painting to bring out the cross. Some paint was removed with alcohol on a Q tip.

Here is a fun little piece I did on illustration board. It is only 5x7, and I used squirt texting to make the under painting, then painted negatively around the snail. I decided to out line the whole snail in white to add more white back into the painting.

Interdimension
This is the second painting I did in the Walton Workshop. It is 22X28 and is latex on paper. I first painted on wet paper with white latex with my fingers and then took a piece of jewelry and drew a design, after it was dry. Next I squirt texted with 5 colors drawn at random. Finally I tucked and added more color to complete the painting. All Rights Reserved by Leada Wood (c) 2010Red,White and Blue
This is a 22X28 latex on paper done in the Walton Workshop. It was done wet in wet by squirting the paint on the paper and then developing it. Very fun process helping you to loosen up and paint free. I left all the underpainting showing and kept my whites. Leada+Wood.jpg)
