Me Gogh Estelle Howard

This is a latex & acrylic painting that was inspired by Van Gogh,  thus the name.  This painting is on a 24 X 30 canvas.   One of my paintings for our traveling show   " Messing With The Old Masters " we are painting something that was inspired from something the Old Masters had painted.  First place we will show is the Heritage Museum in Big Spring.  Sides are painted to match the front.  No framing needed.

Wax Flowers by Carole Berry

This is a watercolor painted on rice paper.  Tricky as the watercolor runs like crazy.  Dry paint is
added and then covered with wax to hold it on the page.   Each color has a coating of wax.
After all the paint is added  I can use newspaper and a hot iron to take off the wax.  Handy.
This is the results.  Enjoy Carole

Water Lily

We went to see the San Angelo International Water Lily collection when we were in San Angelo the other day. Was a nice exhibit but need to go to it when cooler or early morning or late evening. This watercolor was painted from a photo I took of lily pads.
