Old Dog Calla Lilies (for comparison)

Here is my original 1/2 sheet piece of "Magenta Callas" that I felt had something lacking, done about 1.5 years ago. You can compare it to "Callas Confetti".

Resuscitation Efforts, or How to Awaken a Dead Watercolor

"Callas Confetti", 15x22 on Italia 140 lb cold press paper by Dick Blick. This one was done a few years ago and was such a dog you could hear it barking all over town. Everyone seeing it wanted to turn it upside down so I did (the view you see here). Yesterday began adding and intensifying colors and increasing contrasts, and today added a background as the white paper was too sterile. At the end I just threw paint on it. See what you think. Now off to find the original file to post for comparison.
