Loco Lilies

15x22 watercolor on Saunders 140 cold press paper. Using a detail from one of my florals, I drew these abstract shapes and they began to resemble lilypads. Negative painting was done to appear underwater. Stamps of song and verse are scattered at random for this cool painting with warm accents.

I like the way you have painted.

Try Dot Paintings. It is one of the best type of paintings by Western Australian artists.

Kay I like this. Wondering if the stamps are hand made or you found them with more then one word on them?
Interesting & fun anyway.

Love this one Kay. Very nice.
Wish I could see it in person as it look like there is much going on in it. Carole

I would like to see it in person too Carole, very intriguing and mysterious, not your ordinary lillies.
