Caviar Chef Does United Way

At noon today, Howard College Big Spring hosted 9th annual United Way Empty Bowls event. I've been part of it each year donating a chef image for all publicity. Lots of delicious soup was served to attendees who also took home a handmade pottery bowl. Here you see Gale Pittman on the left who won the highest auction bid on my "Caviar Chef" torn paper collage art, me in center, and new HC art professor Amin Tejani. Thanks to Sandy Stewart for coordinating this effort to benefit all of Howard county United Way agencies. Look for Gale's new business to open on south Scurry, Gale's Bakery and Deli.
